In former times mental patients were covered with wet scheets and were binded with a rope to a tree when they were panicking.
This was done for letting themselves feel themselves through their skin.
My work is inspired by this. I use a large broom to place white objects upon.
The white objects are made out of clay as negative forms that filled the space between the outside and various parts of my body.

昔、スイスの診療所で行われた療法の一つに、パニックになった精神疾患患者を水で濡らしたシーツで体を包み、病院の中庭にある木に体を縄で縛り付ける、というものがある。濡れたシーツが身体に密着する事で自分の身体感覚を取り戻すからだという。
この作品はこの療法から着想したもので、身体にある窪みを土で埋め、それを焼き外形化した陶器を、四方の壁から布で吊るされた木に置いてある。
